Metal Technology are delighted to be involved in this significant 1,480-bed student accommodation project for the University of York, designed by Sheppard Robson architects and delivered by Graham Construction. The ongoing \u00a3130 million flagship scheme will transform the Heslington East Campus. Metal Technology have supplied\u00a0their 535Hi+ \"\"\u00a0Tilt and Turn window suite\u00a0from its\u00a0range of architectural glazing products to help create this fantastic \u201cCampus of the Future\u201d, which is being\u00a0fabricated and\u00a0installed by\u00a0APiC\u00a0UK .<\/p>\n

York\u2019s unique heritage has been a core consideration in the planning and design of this development, with the accommodation\u00a0maximising\u00a0views of the lake and surrounding parkland. Embracing Modern Methods of Construction, the development will include\u00a0pre-fabricated\u00a0sandwich panels, integrating external brick finish\u00a0with\u00a0Metal\u00a0Technology’s\u00a0windows, which included the development of a bespoke\u00a0extrusion.<\/p>\n
