Northern Ireland\u2019s most environmentally conscious organisations have once again been revealed at an event to announce the results of Business in the Community\u2019s 26th Annual Northern Ireland Environmental Benchmarking Survey (NIEBS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The survey allows organisations to be externally audited by EY and scored on their environmental efforts and performance. 132 organisations entered this year and we\u2019re thrilled and very proud to announce that Metal Technology has achieved Platinum Level in our second year of taking part. Our Sustainability Champion and Technical Support Manager William McIlvenna was there to accept the award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event took place in the Titanic Suite at Titanic Belfast, and it was great to see so many local businesses acting responsibly. Big thanks to Business in the Community Northern Ireland for an extremely well run event. You can view the survey report here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are fully committed to reducing our Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 and are already ahead of target, as well as measuring and reducing our Scope 3 GHG emissions and reporting company-wide GHG emissions on an annual basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
