We\u2019re proud to announce that Metal Technology has achieved Platinum Level for the second year running in Business in the Community\u2019s Northern Ireland Environmental Benchmarking Survey (NIEBS), independently audited by EY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

150 NI-based organisations across sectors such as manufacturing, local government, education, utilities, construction, ICT, and food & drink took part, with 41 achieving the coveted Platinum level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Sustainability Champion and Technical Support Manager, William McIlvenna, attended the ceremony in the Titanic Suite at Titanic Belfast, where many local organisations were recognised for their environmental performance. Huge thanks to Business in the Community Northern Ireland for hosting an excellent event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Metal Technology, we remain committed to reducing our Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030, and we\u2019re already ahead of schedule. We are also actively measuring and reducing our Scope 3 emissions and report our company-wide GHG emissions annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
